2006 [May 19th-22nd]- As many members of the team as possible were sent to the
Pacific Rim National Park Reserve (Canada Long Beach Unit) to practice their paddling technique as a team, and to determine paddling configurations, establish rescue procedures, practice beach landings, etc

2006 [June 3rd]- A scouting party will be sent along the proposed route by power boat.
